Who can sell services?
As long as you are a company, entrepreneur, freelancer or slash in Hong Kong, you can publish and sell services on the Workeroom platform.
How do I publish a service?
After signing-up and completing the phone verification process, you can publish your service in My Account page.
What can I sell?
You can publish any professional service that you wish to offer as long as it complies with our terms and conditions. We highly recommend you to publish services related to your area of expertise.
How do I price my service?
You can price the service at any price that you think is reasonable as long as it meets our minimum price requirement (i.e. HKD100).
How much does it cost?
Signing up and posting services on Workeroom is free.
How do I get paid?
Buyers are required to pay when they order your service on Workeroom. Once an order is completed, the money after deducting the 3rd party payment processing fee (2% of service fee) will be transferred to your Workeroom account. You can then withdraw the money to your local bank account (withdrawal normally takes around five working days).
Where can I find a service?
To start with, you can explore the service categories using our navigation bar on the homepage. You can also filter the services according to your requirements once you have selected a specific service category.
How do I select a right service?
Depending on your needs and requirements, we recommend you to consider the following criteria: - Pro Profile - Pro Review - Service Description - Service Review
How much does it cost?
There are no membership, commission or management fee. You will only need to pay for the service fee and the 3rd party payment processing fee (2% of service fee).
How do I contact the Pro?
You can contract the Pro using the instant messaging function on our platform. This is recommended as confirmation details can be auditable should there be a dispute which needs to be resolved.
What is the general purchase process?
1. Choose and order a service 2. Submit required information 3. Receive your service 4. Accept and review your service
How can I ask a Pro to provide a customised service?
You can tell the Pro your specific requirements through the platform. The Pro can create and send a custom offer for you.
What is an order status?
Typically, there are five types of order status for each order: 1. Paid - Buyer has purchased an order after successful payment 2. Submitted Information - Buyer has submitted the information as required by Pro 3. In Progress - Pro has started preparing the service and order 4. Delivered - Pro has delivered the service 5. Completed - Buyer has received and accepted the service
Under what circumstances can a buyer cancel an order?
You can cancel a order under the following circumstances: 1. The Pro has not responded within eighteen (18) hours after the Buyer purchased a service. 2. The Pro did not deliver the order within the stipulated delivery timeline of the order.
What if the service delivered doesn't match the service description?
The Buyer can request for revisions according to the number of revision times offered by the Pro. If there is still a large discrepancy between the service delivered and the service description after revisions, the Buyer can look to the platform for assistance and resolution.
Who can register as a Workeroom member?
Anyone can register and become a member of Workeroom. However, only Hong Kong residents can publish services in Workeroom. Non-Hong Kong residents are only allowed to purchase services.
What are the key differences in the membership levels?
There are 5 levels on Workeroom: Normal, Copper, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each membership level will have different benefits in the future. Please pay attention to our notice.
How can I earn membership points?
You can earn and accumulate membership points through various activities on the platform (e.g., completing phone verification, conducting sales and purchase etc.).
